  • Benefits:_Save time! Don't reinvent the wheel.
  • Support Material - 6 Pack Zipped Files useful when talking to people as you set up classes.
    • Two paragraph Description for catalogs
    • Course Summaries
    • Abbreviated Reviews from Amazon.com
    • Local Newspaper Interview of Dave Cutcher, certified Evil Genius
    • Course Learning Objectives (material that only administrators can love)
    • Suggestions regarding how to create a grade.
You'd like to share your knowledge, but WHERE? Who would be intersted.
  • You choose your audience.*
    • Private Post Secondary Training Schools
    • ARRL - Amateur Radio. The ARRL Certification and Continuing Education Program depend on volumteers.
    • Civil Air Patrol Cadets, Navy Cadets, Scouts (or similar group)
    • Community Centers - Continuing Education through community centers. Such classes often ask you to rent the room,  and you collect the money.  $200 per student for a 50 hour class.  20 students.  You do the math.
    • Community Colleges & Junior Colleges - Often provide use of their classroom space outside of regular hours.
    • Skills and Trades Training Centers
    • Home School - The Home School market is hungry for meaningful electives at the High School Level. Groups of parents will hire a specialist to come in and teach a group, or arrange for teaching through a "co-op."  Credits are being arranged through NARS  (Discussions started mid June, 05)
    • Night School - Adult Continuing Education through School Districts expect people to know the material, but often don't expect the instructor to be a state certified teacher.
    • ROBOT CLUBS - Get Ready for COMPETITIONS: INDIVIDUAL AND TEAMS. Give yourself that edge.  Understand electronics at the components level.  No more excuses like "We programmed it 3 times and it still just runs into the wall!"
    • Summer Camps - Pre-Engineering and Academic Camps Sponsored Local Universities and IEEE
    • Within the regular school as an elective.  You need to be a certified teacher to do this, but you already knew that.
*Strongly recommended that any group have a minimum age of 13.  This is not a childs' introduction to electronics.
