First Section including the 4046
Input Processor Output
Push Button closes
Voltage Filling RC 1
Falling Voltage controlled by the RC 1 drains from max to minimum.  The voltage at pin 9 is compared to V+.  This controls speed of Voltage Controlled Oscillator Length of Rolldown controlled by RC 1.  Rolldown Clock Signal.

Second Section 4017
Active  Inputs Processor Output
  •  Clock Rolldown From the Output of the 4046
  • Reset
1 of 10 counter reset at out6.
  • Walking Ring Provides Hi to out0 to out6.
  • out6 is used to reset 4017 to 0
  • out 6 is used as contolling input to 4510

Second Section LEDs
Input Processor Output
Walking Ring Provides Hi to 1 of 6 LEDs in sequence.   Light

Third Section starting with 4510
Input Processor Output
  • Clock Rolldown from 4046
  • Hi input from 4017 out6
    • triggers preload of L1
  • U/D Counter set up or down
Decimal Counting Binary  Advancing Binary Code

Third Section 4511
Input Processor Output
Binary Word Converter for 7 Segment LED
Binary Counting Decimal
Decimal Value of Binary Input shown on the 7 segment LED

Fourth Section Timed Off
