Not a dumb question.
I asked the same myself when I got
one. It was a big "whazzit ?" .
| Peel the waxed paper backing off of the bread board, exposing the adhesive. It's contact cement. | |
| For the next
part, you have only one real chance to do it right. Doesn't have to be
perfect.
Carefully place the aluminum strip onto the exposed adhesive. That secures the 3 parts of the breadboard together. |

| The backing doesn't
come attached because many people connect two or three together.
Then they peel the backing and put them as one onto a larger sheet of metal
or plastic.
